Having served President and Mrs. George W. Bush for many years at the George W. Bush Presidential Center, the Brigade team members planned and produced countless conferences, fundraisers, galas, marquee events, bike rides, golf tournaments, and intimate gatherings. Most notably, they were key members of the team who planned the dedication of the George W. Bush Presidential Center; the Warrior Open and W100K events annually since 2011; international trips to Africa for President and Mrs. Bush, including the African First Ladies Summit; A Symposium on Invisible Wounds at Invictus Games, jointly hosted with Prince Harry; visits and events honoring His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama; and the Forum on Leadership featuring President and Mrs. George W. Bush, Bono, Jeff Bezos, and other high-level speakers.

Justine Sterling Converse, Founder AND CEO
Justine’s career in events began in the White House Social Office and has continued for over a decade while serving President and Mrs. George W. Bush. Her work for the Bushes brought her to Dallas, but her husband, Chris, and their sweet, rowdy boys, Charlie and Harrison, have made Dallas her home. Justine, who hails from a long line of hard-working Kansas agriculturists, thrives on the adrenaline rush of high-level event execution, organizes closets to relax, and believes deeply in supporting other women.
April Zorsky, Partner and event Director
April is an entrepreneur at heart, with a decade of event planning experience including successfully running her own event planning business. Above all else, she is the devoted wife of Joshua, the dearest friend of her lifetime, and proud mother to their lively daughter Eloise and sweet son George. She lives for a good production schedule, a warm cup of coffee, and dreams of taking her family to the English countryside.
Emma Prince, Partner and event director
With a Business Degree and background in Finance, Emma became an event planner over six years ago. She is our resident Excel Extraordinaire and Operational Guru. Emma married her high school sweetheart, Reid, and their lives are a constant adventure raising their two spirited daughters, Annabelle and Savannah. Emma enjoys being a master multi-tasker and is fluent in event logistics.
Meredith Barnes, Event Manager
Using her background in Accounting and Legal recruiting, Meredith transitioned her skill set in details and logistics into planning and executing events in 2017. Most of all, Meredith is a proud Texas A&M Aggie and Dr. Pepper enthusiast. Her passions include spending time with her family, delicious Tex-Mex food, and any activity that allows her to be outdoors. She believes in the perfect staffing plan and lives for a good menu tasting.
Julia KoprivniK, Business Manager
With a diverse background in accounting and business development and an interest in events, Julia speaks “finance” both for our clients and Brigade’s day to day business. Julia enjoys any challenge and will dissect event budgets, contracts, and financial projections with precision. Julia spends most of her free time traveling with her loving husband, Xander, and their adorable pup, Finley.
