Forum on Leadership
The Forum on Leadership is an annual event that celebrates leadership by bringing together unique programming, speakers, and the George W. Bush Presidential Center’s highest-level donors. In 2019, Bill and Melinda Gates received the George W. Bush Medal for Distinguished Leadership at the event’s black-tie gala. Jan Langbein, CEO of the Genesis Women’s Shelter, was also honored and received the Trailblazer Citation. In 2018, the inaugural Forum on Leadership took place over the course of three days. The event included a black-tie gala honoring Bono as the first George W. Bush Medal for Distinguished Leadership recipient and a 5,000-person event featuring Amazon Chairman and CEO, Jeff Bezos.
